Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring Lab Tech II with a well-known industry leader in Maplewood, MN.

In this role you will play a crucial role in conducting various tests and experiments to ensure the quality and performance of our abrasive products.
Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and experiments on industrial products,
Operate, maintain, and calibrate multiple pieces of equipment used in the preparation and testing of abrasive samples
Prepare and characterize samples and resins using prescribed formulations and test methods while adhering to strict safety guidelines
Collect, analyze and interprete data accurately and efficiently
Document and report test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing
Maintaining clean equipment and lab space for safe operation

As a Lab Tech III you will:

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.

The ideal candidate will have:

At least 1 year working in a laboratory setting in a private, public, academic, government, or military environment.
Strong technical and/or mechanical background
Experience with pilot or production manufacturing equipment
Familiarity with safe chemical handling practices
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Comfort working with equipment user interfaces and Microsoft Excel
Good written and oral communication skills
Reliability and consistency

Pay Rate: $25.95 per hour
