This role will also execute practices that align with City's environmental policies and provide proper education to all levels of employees on these complex compliance and technical issues. Duties and Responsibilities Regulatory ComplianceWorks closely with the engineering team and plant personnel to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, statues, codes, and regulations as well as internal Company policiesEnsures all site activities comply with Company and outside regulatory requirements including but not limited to: Process Safety Management programs, air pollution prevention, storm water pollution prevention, and fire suppression system Waste Management Responsible for all wastewater compliance, including but not limited to: flow monitoring, report deliverance to applicable governing bodies, and wastewater system improvementsOversees all hazardous waste collection and disposal activitiesCoordinates sustainability improvements Air Quality ManagementGuarantees compliance with all Air Quality permits conditions and regulations Keeps accurate production recordsMonitors fuel useSubmits all required reports to appropriate government agencies and City stakeholders Spill Incident ResponseResponds to any spill incident, including timely reporting to any appropriate local, state, and federal agenciesLeads initiatives to prevent spillsConducts periodic spill prevention training to appropriate employees TrainingPartners with the Learning and Development team to ensure consistent environmental training for all team members across the site Mentors and coaches team members in real-time on safety best practices by regularly engaging on the production floorLeads teams through any environmental safety and/or compliance policy changes Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field5+ years experience in the environmental field including permitting and wastewater managementWorking knowledge of state and federal employment law, and applicable statutory codes (OSHA, EPA, etc) requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to lead large teams through change Effective analytical, problem solving, administrative and organizational skillsCity Brewery is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.PI0f74e9ef6e58-25660-35806001
